Teka is a German based company and the leader in the built-in concept for the kitchen.
Teka’s origin goes back to 1924 in Germany where the joint venture between two well-known industrial families founded Teka and started the manufacturing process of a new product for the kitchen, the stainless steel sink.
From that moment, the Teka Group has grown to become the leader in technology for the kitchen, not only in sinks but also in products found throughout the kitchen.
This worldwide presence allows us to provide the products you need, in the timeframe you require, at the highest quality available.
Being more than 80 years old, Teka was one of the first companies to develop the stainless steel sink concept in the world.
Presently, the Teka group is diverse in other areas such as home appliances, bath taps, storage containers, electronics and thanks to its more than 5000 employees achieves an annual volume of well over € 1000 mil.
Teka is a customer-oriented company with a network of commercial subsidiaries in 125 countries and production facilities in 5 continents.
Teka Portugal, S.A.
Teka Portugal, S.A storage unit department began life in 1987 when the company started to produce milk refrigeration tanks.
Ten years later it received another boost when stainless steel containers were added to its production line.
The manufacture of these products requires rigorous welding processes, which are carried out by specialist technicians and ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
Another leading feature in this sector is the requirement to certify stainless steel containers, which, given that they are designed for the transport of dangerous substances, are subject to strenuous safety tests.
Teka Portugal, S.A. is proud of its ability to comply with UN (United Nations) standards in this field and thus to have its containers, which are also known as IBC’s (intermediate bulk container) and comply with ADR (land transport), RDI (rail transport) and IMDG (maritime transport) regulations.
At the present time Teka Portugal, S.A is the only Portuguese company to produce this kind of packaging.
The company’s milk refrigeration tanks possess NF certification, which enables us to compete in countries in which this certification makes an important difference.

All components used in the production are produced internally, using hydraulic presses of 600 and 1000 ton.
Teka Portugual is a certified company for APCER in accordance with norms NP EN ISO9001/2000.
For beyond this certification, the sector of Containers has homologation for competent entities for IBC production and certification NF attributed by French competent entity.
